Blackbird NYE tips
Simply wow is the first impression as you step into Brisbane’s Blackbird Restaurant. The intimate dining rooms of the restaurant and bar add a level of sophistication that is only exceed when you see the views of the Brisbane River. This is an exceptional venue for any Brisbane New Year’s Eve event.
The positive restaurant experience is topped off with well attending staff who are also can engage in conversation if asked. Our meal and wine provided the basics for a really delightful dining experience. It was the rest of the Blackbird experience including staff and surrounds that took it to the level of special. it’s easy to see from that how wonderful a NYE could be.
Normally for New Years Eve, Blackbird offers a packaged NYE option that includes food, drinks and entertainment. From our experience these NYE tickets do sell out quite fast, so it is a good idea to try and make your plans early especially if wanting to spend this New Years celebrations with a group of friends.

The Blackbird Restaurant is located along the Brisbane River, near the Eagle St Pier. It has gorgeous views to the Storey Bridge

There are many hotel accommodation options in Brisbane close to the Brisbane River and the area near the Blackbird restaurant and bar. One tip we can suggest is that you do book your accommodation early as Brisbane hotel accommodation can begin to fill quiet early in December.
Car Parking and drop off tips:
You could leave the car at home for this one and take a Water Taxi along Brisbane River. But if you do have to drive there are private car parks nearby and also drop off points out front for taxi or limos.
