Arbory NYE tips
During the week some of the NYE crew visited Arbory down by the Yarra.
Tucked down between the north bank of Melbourne's Yarra River and Flinders Street Station is the gorgeous tree canopy covered Arbory restaurant and bar. It also has a floating section on the Yarra River called Arbory Afloat. We accessed by the stairway down near the Swanston St Bridge. Wow what a little sanctuary area that has such ambience. A lovely secret spot for Melbourne.
It was a weekday brunch and the food was very good. Our group really enjoyed the menu and also the terrific service from the bubbly staff.

Arbory Location:
Right on the north side of the Yarra River on the banks next to the Flinders St Railway station.
Accommodation ideas and notes:
There are plenty of fabulous accommodation options near by but all those along Southbank will be very handy after a terrific New Years Eve event.
Car Parking and drop off tips:
Being so central and having no real street frontage it is not really a car destination. Best to come by train or tram. Or even boat and get dropped off right out front! But if driving maybe park in the Southbank area and access by the pedestrian bridge across the Yarra River.
