Bang Pop NYE tips
The NYE Team visited the Melbourne restaurant Bang Pop, down by the Yarra River in the Melbourne precinct known as South Wharf. It’s a very active area with boardwalks along the Yarra and then many shops, hotels, eateries and bars and the Melbourne Exhibition centre.
Bang Pop is an asian inspired Melbourne restaurant with dining tables set in an open plan. There are indoor and outdoor areas with the outdoor area overlooking the Yarra River. We found the meals exceptionally refreshing and delicious. A new years eve offering of banquet style dishes that keep coming would be a great way to share a NYE meal with friends.
The prices were reasonable for the meal portions and the drinks were all great too. Dining can be casual thru to elegant and it will just depend on the restaurants NYE theme and if they have a special dining package. Make sure you keep in tune with the NYE packages.

Bang Pop Location:
Great location on the south side of the Yarra River at South Wharf. This venue will have fabulous views to see the Melbourne NYE fireworks.

Car Parking and drop off tips:
This area of South Wharf on the Yarra has a boat tie up right out front, so a water taxi is available. Car parking at South Wharf retail area is available and we saw pedal cabs too.
