H2oh NYE is an institution in the Melbourne New Years scene. We have seen this event blossom over many years and we continually get favourable reviews from punters that attend. Now H2oh has been running this NYE event for quite a few years. Extraordinaire promoter, Joe likes to look forward to the next big thing so I’m not sure if he counts how many years but it is getting up there. And why not? People love his NYE dance parties.

The Venue, “Metropolis" is located on the Upper level of the Southgate Precinct along the Yarra River on Southbank Promenade. This Prestigious venue is surrounded by water and is right in the heart of the city, where all the action is. Metropolis, has 9 metre floor to ceiling rap around glass windows, that offer uninterrupted views over the Yarra & City Skyline. You can also enjoy the ultimate viewing of the Melbourne Fireworks Display from all parts of the venue.

The H2o NYE party is held at Metropolis, situated in the upper Level of the Southgate Complex. It is a sensational location to watch the fireworks from and certainly another exclusive spot for another H2o exciting NYE party on the waterfront.
Accommodation ideas and notes:
Lots of accommodation options in Melbourne CBD - Quay West Suites Melbourne are literally next door to the Venue. Extensive public transport access to the Venue with St Kilda Rd Trams or Trains with Flinders St Station located directly opposite. Either, cross over from the Pedestrian Bridge or walk across Princess Bridge from the station, then make your way to Southbank Promenade to the Southgate Complex and you will find H2o at “Metropolis”.
Car Parking and drop off tips:
There is plenty of paid parking right out the front of the Venue. Closest drop offs are out the front of Quay West Melbourne or on St Kilda Rd near Princess Bridge.
