Sagra NYE tips
Some of the NYE Team moseyed to the relaxing comforts that is the Sagra Restaurant. Sagra is actually a whole lot more than just a Restaurant. It encompasses also a Rooftop Bar and for those wanting more they also have a foodstore where they sell some of the delightful foods and wines they have on offer in the restaurant and bar.
The NYE family started with one of the super antipasti options. The Sagra Di Deli. This flavoursome array of salamis, marinated vegetables and cheeses was just the thing to get the table talking and engaging with this open plan layout. Wow, just awesome food.
This was followed by some sharing of bowls of pasta. Gnocci and Ravioli were the picks and these sung of the Italian cuisine this restaurant is famous for. Fresh and delightful on the palate. The team were full of smiles. But there was more. The only way to finish is with the super Gelati dessert options. And the little one in this party certainly enjoyed that the most.
Sagra is open most days for Lunch,Grazing and Dinner. But it is an ideal locale for the NYE or other celebrations as people can mix freely in this open plan. And the upstairs rooftop bar allows the atmosphere to flow over.

Sagra Location:
Sagra is located in the suburb of Malvern. It’s one one of Melbourne’s trendiest strips being Glenferrie Rd. Easy to get to be car or public transport.
Accommodation ideas and notes:
You can still stay in Melbourne for this one or maybe around Albert park area and catch the tram or jump on a train. Plenty of accommodation options in these parts of Melbourne.
Car Parking and drop off tips:
Easy to park in Glenferrie Road. Or at least the the NYE crew were lucky enough to score a park nearly outside the venue. And then there is also options of parking in side streets but just watch for any “permit only” zones.
