Waterslide Bar NYE tips
Some of the NYE team were invited to Waterslide to get a look at the venue and preparations for NYE. The first impression is that the staff are attentive and polite. That was good as we all only get one first impression. We ventured onto the balcony and ordered a share meat plate, the charcuterie selection and some waters.
The meat plate and olives and other nibbles were fabulous and hit the mark. The venue prides itself on it’s cocktails. So we ordered some of their signature cocktails with one being the French Baiser. Beautiful! Dreaming looking out over the Yarra River it was clear this venue has sophistication and will be enjoyable come 31st December!
Our team really enjoyed their time at the Waterslide bar and would be keen to return. There is no doubt the people running the show are very keen to have a terrific NYE!

Waterslide Location:
Great location on Southbank just down from the Arts Centre. The venue is up one level in the Southbank centre overlooking the Yarra River.
Accommodation ideas and notes:
Being so close to the city there are accommodations options in Southbank and also within the CBD. We’d suggest tose hotels closer to Southbank may be easier.
Car Parking and drop off tips:
There is some parking in Southbank but on NYE we’d suggest to be further away. Or you could arrive by boat (water taxi) or taxi / limo etc. It will be busy so avoid the headaches of driving in this area.
